The City of Brantford has launched a hybrid of in person and virtual attendance at Committees of the Whole, Standing Committees and Council meetings. Corporate Policy 050 – Electronic / Virtual Meeting Operation Procedures has been enacted to provide for rules of holding hybrid meetings at the City of Brantford. Registration to watch electronically on a device (viewing the live stream) is not necessary; simply visit Brantford.ca/virtualcouncil to find where to view the meeting. Registration to attend in person is no longer necessary either. Those wishing to simply view the meeting may continue to watch the meetings broadcasted by the City by visiting brantford.ca/virtualcouncil.
If you do not have internet access, please call 519-759-4150 extension 5358. If necessary, please leave a voicemail including your name, phone number and meeting date. A member of Staff will reach out to you to permit over the phone listening.
Members of the public are also able to provide their comments in writing or via email in advance of the meeting. Comments can be submitted by emailing clerks@brantford.ca anytime prior to the meeting or by mail to City Clerk, City of Brantford, 58 Dalhousie Street, P.O. Box 818, Brantford, ON N3T 5R7. Comments can also be placed in the drop box which is available at the front of City Hall. All comments received prior to the meeting will be provided to members of the body.
